Digital Advertising
As a Creative Designer at Say Media I designed and built expandable rich media ads for desktop, tablet and mobile. Creating these digital experiences required a bit of animation, HTML, as well as UI/UX logic to bring them to life.
Vuse Mobile Unit
This Vuse ad was designed for mobile and had a KPI of time-spent, specifically to get people to open the video advertisement.
Takeover:
This vertical scroll layout was a great solution to limited mobile space. I was able to neatly showcase all product features, fit in a custom gallery, and have a video in all slides. This provided a rich and interactive mobile experience that Vuse was looking for.
TJX Holiday Unit
This holiday desktop unit was aimed to keep viewers entertained with a series of videos, with a KPI of time spent.
The Takeover:
The goal for this unit was to get viewership on all 6 videos that TJX provided me with. The client wanted all of their videos to have an equal shot of being seen, which created a challenge for me because it’s difficult to keep viewers in a digital takeover for that a relatively long time.
I came up with the solution of having the videos play at random once the takeover was engaged. This means every video got a chance at being played first, despite having a specific sequence to all 6 videos.
A CTA lives to the right of each video, and a user can get a sneak peak of all the content with the thumbnail views and hover styles.
NEXUS USBeautiful Unit
This was a desktop unit with a KPI of clicks-to-site, with the goal to increase purchases for their new USB sockets.
The Takeover
The Nexus USBeautiful unit had a KPI of click-to-site, so I built a shop-able experience within the takeover. A shopper can browse through the variety USB ports and try on different colors and finishes. Each CTA leads to the exact place they can purchase the product online.
I also wanted to keep the viewer engaged with the unit in an entertaining way, so I included a hover animation to take effect on mouse over.
